This tender grasp between two hands is meant to prompt viewers to think about the instances in which they have either extended their help or received it. For this reason, the identity of the people the hands belong to is left to the viewer’s imagination. Most of us have had a time in which we have been reluctant to receive help, as the action of doing so represents the acceptance of our struggles or flaws.
